WEEK OF JANUARY 23, 2012

INTRODUCTION TO BIOTECHNOLOGY

Students will study different types of assays including activity, stability, potency, concentration, toxicology, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics.


FORENSIC SCIENCE

Students will begin anthropology unit this week.  We will do comparative anatomy lab on Tuesday and notes on Friday.


PRINCIPLES OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE

Students will perform chemical assays to determine the type of macromolecules present in several common food items.  We will finish the unit on Diabetes this week.


MEDICAL PROJECTS

Students will job shadow on Monday and Thursday.  We will share experience on Wednesday.

HOMEROOM

Attendance is very important. You are seniors -- keep all deadlines in mind. Time will go by quickly - remember what I said about second semester going by quicker than the first.
