INTRODUCTION TO BIOTECHNOLOGY
Students will begin Chapter 12 on medical biotechnology. They will also continue viewing and caring for their plant cultures of carrots and venus fly traps.
FORENSIC SCIENCE
Students will continue unit on Entomology this week. They will take notes
and finish reading the packet. Students will begin studying for final exam.
PRINCIPLES OF
BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE
We will continue the unit on Infectious Disease this
week. Powerpoint on viruses, especially the process of infection and treatment of HIV. Students will
have short period of time this week to work in groups on Part VII of Grant
Proposal.
MEDICAL PROJECTS
Students will share their experiences during their last weeks of job shadowing. We will finish the semester with topics of medical ethics.
HOMEROOM
Attendance is very important. You are
seniors -- keep all deadlines in mind. Time will go by quickly - remember what I
said about second semester going by quicker than the first.
